At Crawford International Sandton College we believe that leadership, collaboration and being part of a team are integral to the holistic development of our students. We motivate our students to learn new skills and try new pursuits by offering a variety of opportunities within and beyond the classroom. Our staff members are particularly passionate about their chosen Sport or Cultural activity and welcome the opportunity to enjoy meaningful interactions beyond the confines of the classroom. We are proud of the fact that many of our staff members are extremely talented in their given fields and in some cases have also represented our country on numerous occasions.
Academics
Crawford International Sandton College prepares Grade 12 students to write the IEB matric examinations. We celebrated the academic achievements of our Grade 12 Class of 2024 on 14 January 2025. Crawford Sandton, once again, achieved a 100% pass, with 100% of our students achieving a Bachelor’s Degree pass. The Class of 2024 achieved an average of 4,3 distinctions per student – an outstanding performance! We are incredibly proud of the commitment and dedication demonstrated by the 2024 Grade 12s who demonstrated true Crawfordian spirit to achieve fantastic results. Congratulations to all our students, who gave their best and performed admirably in the 2024 NSC Examinations. We look forward to hearing about their achievements in the future and thank them for being excellent role models to the rest of the College.
Extramural Activities
Whilst academic excellence is encouraged and applauded at the College, it is evident that students who participate in College life in terms of their involvement in some level of Sport or Cultural activity are better able to balance their studies with maintaining a healthy mental and physical state of being.
In this regard, numerous sports and activities are offered including swimming, tennis, soccer, cricket, basketball, touch rugby, hockey, golf, netball, chess, interact club, photography, graphic design, book club, scrabble club, eGaming, Peer-to-Peer teaching, music, debating, public speaking, art and Crafts club, JSE Schools’ challenge, Mathematics Club, and numerous Olympiads. Many students also participate in a host of other sports outside of school and their achievements in these fields are also celebrated and awarded at school assemblies and events. These include equestrian, motor racing, ice hockey, judo, karate, dance, and many other pursuits.

We are looking forward to an exciting and action-packed 2025 sporting year! Here at Crawford Sandton College (CCS) we to keep raising the bar and get as many students involved in all the various sporting codes we have on offer. Our house system has brought a new energy to our campus and there are many students wanting to represent CCS on the sports fields. CCS competes against the top schools in the various leagues.
