Clarendon High School for Girls’ water polo team has achieved a remarkable 8th-place national ranking! Competing against top private schools across the country, the team has demonstrated exceptional grit, teamwork!
This national recognition stands as a testament to the dedication of the players and coaches who consistently give their all!
Squash Success: National Rankings and a Championship Title
Clarendon’s squash programme continues to set the benchmark nationally. Two standout athletes have achieved exceptional individual success:
- Sasha Earl (U19) – Ranked 5th in South Africa
- Kate van Biljon (U16) – Ranked 2nd in South Africa
In addition to these individual accolades, Clarendon’s squash team delivered an unforgettable performance at the prestigious SA Top Schools Squash Tournament in Pietermaritzburg earlier this year. Competing against the top provincial teams from across the country, the Clarendon team defended their national title with pride and strength, earning the title of South Africa’s No. 1 Girls’ Squash Team for the second consecutive year!
