Sports news from Cannons Creek: Girls shine on the Hockey field.
On Saturday, 16 August, Cannons Creek Independent School took on its rivals, Fairbairn College, in a series of competitive hockey fixtures. The U14 girls delivered an outstanding performance with a 3–0 victory, with Caitlyn Wong Ho named Player of the Match.
The U16 girls continued the winning streak with a well-deserved 2–0 win, thanks to the excellent play of Player of the Match, Skye Arendse.
Despite a strong effort, the U19 girls were narrowly defeated in their encounter.
All players are to be commended for their determination and commitment, especially as they braved the rain to represent Cannons Creek with pride.
