St John’s Festival Round up for Saturday!
Huge credit to the Blues, who had to dig deep to edge out a spirited Hoërskool Randburg 33–24 at the 28th St John’s College Easter Rugby Festival!
It was an intense, end-to-end battle with Randburg pushing hard until the final whistle. The Blues left it late to seal the win in a match played in fantastic spirit by both sides. Rugby at its best.
Day 2 has already saw an upset, with the Golden Lions leaving it late to stun St David’s Marist Inanda. Welkom-Gimnasium Skool Amptelike Blad and Diamantveld were then involved in a high-scoring affair, while SACS were exceptional in clinching a victory over Voortrekker.

Day 2 U19 score update:

Prep School Match:

Massive congratulations to our U13 1st XV Prep boys on a thrilling win over our crosstown rivals, St David’s Marist Inanda Prep, on Burger Field!

It was a nail-biting clash that could’ve gone either way, with St David’s putting in a phenomenal performance and nearly stealing it at the death. But our boys held their nerve under pressure to clinch a hard-earned victory.

Hats off to both teams for an incredible match—what a spectacle! The crowd was on the edge of their seats until the very end!
