Rondebosch’s Jordan Neill and St Stithians’ star, Ihuan-Dre Pretorius, left an indelible mark, notching up two remarkable centuries a piece in spectacular style. Menlopark’s big-hitting sensation, Steve Stolk, unleashed an unbeaten 152-run onslaught against Affies. Yet, it was Waterkloof’s Marcus Bakker who etched his name in the annals of power-hitting history. His awe-inspiring 66-ball 169 not out against Paarl Boys High was nothing short of a masterclass, as he cleared the boundary an astonishing 19 times in his unbeaten innings.
In the final showdown, Waterkloof emerged triumphant, securing the North/South T20 School Cricket Tournament title with an 11-run victory over Menlopark.
