School Hockey Girl’s First Team Rankings: 25/04/2023
The latest edition of the School Hockey Girls’ First Team Rankings has just been released, and the race to qualify for two of South Africa’s premier school hockey tournaments is heating up. Teams are vying to qualify for either the Oranje Meisies Super 12 tournament or the La Rochelle Champions Cup, both of which are basing their invitations on the SA School Sports Rankings.
For teams looking to secure a spot in the prestigious Oranje Meisies Super 12 tournament, they will need to finish within the top 12 positions on the rankings. Meanwhile, teams aiming for the La Rochelle Champions Cup will need to finish between positions 13 and 25 on the rankings.
It’s an exciting time for girls’ school hockey, with teams across the country working hard to secure their spot in one of these top-tier tournaments. And with invitations to both tournaments based on the SA School Sports Rankings, teams will need to ensure they’re performing at their best to qualify.
