It was always going to be a challenge for Grey High School when they took on Grey College for their annual match. However few would have expected such a ferocious display by Grey College who further underlined why they are this week’s No.1 team on the SA School Sports First XV Top 100 Rankings.
To prevent Grey HS getting on the score board was a huge defensive effort from Grey College and they comfortably walked away with a 58-0 victory.
Several teams have benefited from the slip by Grey HS who cling on to a top 10 place.
Glenwood move up the table following their win over DHS and will be hoping that a strong finish to their season translates into a top 10 finish, however with Grey College and Maritzburg College their remaining opponents it could be an uphill climb for the Durban team.
