It was yet another slam dunk performance by the mercurial Paul Roos Gym side who came, saw and conquered Bishops to remain the leading team on this week’s First XV Top 100 Rankings.
It was a good showing by Bishops who put up some strong resistance but at the end the overall skill of PRG proved to be too much to totally contain. That now makes it 10 straight wins in a row for PRG who are looking to rewrite the school rugby record books if this form continues.
Grey College also had a good weekend, educating a very useful Selborne College team to the tune of 62-22. Grey creep every closer to the pole position and it is looking ever more likely that a Paul Roos Gym vs Grey College match could decide who is the cream of the crop in 2018.
Wynberg are having one of their finest seasons for a while and came one step closer to joining the top 5 after a nail-biting win over Grey High School. With only the one narrow loss against them this year, Wynberg are heading for their best finish for many a season.
