Rondebosch embarked on a tour of Pretoria to kick start their season and look in promising form in these early stages.
In particular Justin Broad displayed some outstanding touch scoring 79 runs against Cornwall Hill and an unbeaten 101 against Pretoria Boys High which gives some stability to the Rondebosch middle-order. However against a revamped PBHS team Rondebosch found no answers to the stroke play of Wald Truter who scored a magnificent 121 runs in a high quality match.
Hilton College also look in great form with wins against Grey College, Maritzburg College and St.Charles College in recent weeks and look good value for their top five position.
