The holder of the No.1 position on the U16 Belgotex Rankings was always going to come down to who won the season decider between Paul Roos Gym and Grey College.
PRG have had a terrific season and have led the table for the majority of the season without losing a match before they met Grey College.
Grey College throughout the season had maintained the pressure on Paul Roos Gym ensuring that they were always within sight and timed their challenge for the No.1 position perfectly. In a match that would be fitting for any ‘final’ the leading u16 teams in South African slugged it out with Grey finally coming home with the win 45-27. With that victory Grey College finish their season as the leading U16 team in the country!
