A massive 165 runs not out by SACS batsman Michael Levitt who shared a 200 runs partnership with James Rowden-Turner helped to clinch an emphatic win over Bishops and cement SACS at the top of the U14 Belgotex Sports Rankings for this week.
Tom Newby was also in fine form in that match for SACS pegging back the Bishops effort with a devasting bowling spell and ended up with figures of 6/25.
There were several other notable performance around the country as well with Kistna from Westville Boys notching up an unbeaten 123 runs with his team mate Arumugam taking 6/28 in their victory over Northwood.
Grey High’s James Hofmeyr, who has been in terrific form this year, finished on 101 runs not out in their win over St.Andrews College and it is a victory that keeps Grey in second place on the table.
