RUGBY | 1ST XV vs QUEEN’S COLLEGE

St Andrew’s College suffered their first defeat of the season in a tough home fixture against Queen’s College Boys’ High School, going down 38-17.
Despite showing moments of brilliance and determination, our boys were up against a well-drilled and physical Queen’s outfit who capitalised on key opportunities throughout the match.
The team fought hard to stay in the contest, with some standout phases of play and never-say-die spirit, but ultimately the visitors proved too strong on the day.
It’s a tough result to take, but an important learning experience as the squad regroups and shifts focus to the rest of the season.
We are proud of the grit and heart shown on the field, and we’ll come back stronger.
