In the recent KZN Players Championships hosted at the Pietermaritzburg Golf Club, young golfers from KwaZulu-Natal showcased their talent, with 17-year-old Reece Brown from Kearsney College delivering an impressive performance. Brown demonstrated his skill and composure by clinching second place in a thrilling play-off against Jason Broomhead.
Congratulations to Reece Brown on coming 2nd at the Natal Players Championship. His rounds of -1,-7,-1 earned him a spot in a playoff, which he lost on the second playoff hole.
At the Championship there were 42 players, including 18 junior golfers under the age of 19, showcasing their prowess by delivering commendable scores. The event highlighted the depth of talent among KZN’s junior golfing community, setting the stage for future successes on the greens.
