First XI Cricket Rankings: 24/10/2022

Following last week’s matches the First XI School Cricket Rankings are producing a very tight finish at the top of the table with Rondebosch, Affies and SACS all in with a chance of finishing 2022 as the No.1 team.

SACS had their chances this past week to potentially recapture the top spot when they took on Rondebosch in a 50 over match. However, as the rankings predicted these teams are very closely matched and on the day there was nothing to separate them with the match finishing in a tense tie.

Affies secured a valuable win over Grey College which has also closed the gap on Bosch and it will be an interesting last few fixtures which could determine the top placings.
