This week’s Fairtree SA School Sports U15 Cricket Rankings are beginning to hint at what is shaping up to be a fascinating two-horse race at the top. As more results are added and performances are assessed against quality opposition, Affies and Westville continue to set the early pace.
As with all SA School Sports rankings, the U15 table functions as a performance index, rewarding strength of opposition, competitiveness and consistency rather than isolated results. With the season still unfolding, there is hope that the two leading sides will meet during the course of the year — a contest that would go a long way toward adding further clarity at the top of the rankings.
