This week’s Fairtree SA School Sports U14 Cricket Rankings continue to evolve as more results are added and performances are assessed against a growing range of opposition. While fixture volumes at U14 level remain lower than in the senior age groups, the table is already beginning to reveal early trends based on competitiveness, consistency and strength of opposition.
One of the standout stories of the season so far has been the remarkable start by Steyn City, who have shocked virtually every opponent they have faced. Their strong early performances see them surge into the top-three zone this week, firmly announcing themselves as a force at U14 level.
As more teams reach the minimum match requirement and shared opposition links the rankings further, the picture will continue to sharpen as the season unfolds.
