We have a fairly stable top 10 at the moment on this week’s Belgotex Sports Top 70 Rankings as the teams pull out all the stops to try and qualify for the Oranje Meisies Super 12 Tournament.
With only week’s remaining for teams to qualify for the Super 12 Tournament hosted by Oranje Meisies there has been plenty of results pouring in which has resulted in some interesting movement on this week’s Belgotex Sports Top 70 Rankings.

There is little change in the Girls SA Schools Rankings for this week as the dust settles after the St.Mary’s Waverley Festival with many teams enjoying a weekend off, although there were some good results obtained for some of the leading teams.
For the third time in a row Oranje Meisies travelled to the St Mary’s Waverley Tournament and won, which helps to boost them to the top of the SA School Rankings for this week, a position that they have made their own for several seasons now.
Still the very early stages of the 2016 hockey season and we can expect many more teams joining the rankings as more matches are played. This is how the SA Schools Rankings look at this stage and they are bound to change following the St Mary’s Waverley Festival.
Oranje meisies played 46 games in 2015, won 44, drew 1 and lost 1. Scoring 235 goals and only conceding 17 goals and in so doing claimed the top spot for yet another year on the SA Schools Hockey Rankings.
Yet another highly successful Top 8 Tournament hosted by Oranje Meisies brought together some of the leading teams in the country and the high calibre of play resulted in some changes to the SA Schools Top 70 Rankings.
