Boland Landbou Plow Through SACS Defense!

Boland Landbou plow through SACS Defense! Boland Landbou needed a win quickly to avoid dropping out the Top 20 and the 33-16 against SACS might just have saved them. It was not exactly a pretty match as there were plenty of mistakes to make the ref busy and whistle was blown regularly.

The Boland flankers led the way as both Chris van Tonder and Cobus de Kock had white line fever and went over for five pointers and 10 minutes had not yet been played! SACS never gave up though and although outplayed in most departments tried as best they could to stop the farmers momentum, however nobody was able to stop a bullet run by Craig Welgemoed who thundered over for Landbou’s third try of the half.

Try as they might SACS could not defend against the Landbou counter attackers and from a long range move momentum was built up to finally put Phillip Molnar away for a fourth try. A fifth was soon added when the No. 9 of Landbou Jordaan took the blind side option and dived over the try line. At this stage it was looking like a rout but SACS finally came to their senses and after some great passing skills their flying winger gwcr1h Jacobsen scored a consolation try for SACS.
