A crushing victory by Affies over a struggling Westville launches the Pretoria team to the top of the Totalsports Top 100 Rankings and after an unbeaten run of five matches few would dispute their status at this stage of the season.

There are some big clashes this week with the likes of Affies travelling down to KZN to take on Westville and Grey College meet Maritzburg College in some Interschool matches.

The U15 Rugby Rankings are bound to stir up some controversy as there have been fewer matches played in this division but we can expect most of the irregularities to iron themselves out as more matches are played and submitted.

Still early days in the U16 season but here is the first hit out for the Totalsports U16 Rankings for this week.

Here we go with the first Totalsports First XV Rankings of 2016 in what promises to be yet another massive year of competitive schoolboy rugby!

Many teams recharge their batteries this week after competing in a frenetic Easter Weekend of rugby but there are still plenty of matches on the go and here are the results for this week:

The Easter Rugby spectacular is back bigger and better than ever before with more festivals taking place.

The teams gear up for the Easter Rugby bonanza this week as they polish up on skills before a very busy period of player in the weeks to come.

Rugby: A Call To Ban Tackling at Schools

There has been a big drive in the UK for school rugby to ban all forms of tackling and for the game to be reduced to touch rugby for players under the age of 18.

School Rugby is back with an explosion of matches this week with games taking place around the country and we are looking forward to bringing you the results.

The school rugby season is still several weeks away and already we are faced with big controversy over the ongoing issue of player poaching which threatens to cast a dark cloud over the sport again.

Rugby: The Combined Rugby Rankings for 2015

With the end of the 2015 schoolboy rugby season we take a look at the combined (First XV, U16, U15 & U14) Powerade Performance Rankings for the season.

Paarl Boys High finish the 2015 Rugby season as the undisputable number one team in South Africa and deservedly on top of this year’s First XV Powerade Performance Top 100 Rankings.

It has been an incredibly tight contest on the U14 Powerade Performance Rankings   this season with several teams deserving of claiming the number one spot during the course of the year.

There is little doubt that Affies are the leading U15 team in 2015 and thoroughly deserve to be placed at the top of the U15 Powerade Rankings where they have been for the majority of the season.

The latest U16 Powerade Performance Rankings are little changed from last week although Monument make a last gasp effort to get into the top five but it remains Boishaai who keep a firm grasp on the leading position amongst the u16 teams.

Paarl Boys High completed their 20th victory of the season and in so doing cemented their place at the top of the Powerade Performance First XV Rankings for this week.

The Fixtures and Results for this week: 22/08/2015

A nail biting win by Glenwood over Grey College helped to boost the Durban side up into second spot on the U15 Powerade Performance Rankings for this week.

Outeniqua timed their rise to the top of the U14 Powerade Performance Rankings to perfection and now rest at the pinnacle of the table for this week.

Grey College slip down to the third spot on the U16 Powerade Performance Rankings after they shared the spoils with Glenwood in their annual encounter.

There was little change this week on the First XV Powerade Performance Rankings especially amongst the top 10 which still sees Boishaai out in the front.
