This Week’s School Rugby results from around South Africa:  

Hilton College manage to step up a place on this week’s U14 SA School Sports Rugby Rankings following their emphatic win over the past weekend.

Craig Joubert who officiated in hundreds of domestic first class rugby matches since 2003, the World Cup Sevens, the Super Rugby Finals and World Cup Finals, as well as 70 Test matches has been up close to some of the greatest team’s in the sport.

Hilton College take another step forward following their good win over the weekend and will be looking to climb a couple of places more before the season is out and finish in the top five.

Maritzburg College met their match over the past weekend when they stumbled at the hands of the strong finishing Westville team and lose their first match of the season and along with it their unbeaten status.

A virtually unchanged top half of the table with the noticeable move by Paarl Boys High who get back into contention for a top five finish after they win against Boland Landbou.

The three leading teams on this week’s U14 School Rugby Rankings all scored 50 plus wins last week to underline their dominance in this division.

Grey High School takes a step up the ladder on this week’s U15 School Rugby Rankings after enjoying a dominant performance over St.Andrew’s College last week.

Helpmekaar put together a master class of a performance against an outgunned and outplayed HTS Middelburg to record a big win last week. This win helps Helpmekaar to clamber into the top ten on this week’s First XV School Rugby Top 100 Rankings.

If rugby was a breakfast, the backs are as committed as the rooster in the hen house where the eggs came from. The forwards are as committed as the pig who became the bacon.

Northwood put together yet another crushing performance last week to notch up another 50 plus score and to remain unbeaten so far in 2018.

A massive performance from Oakdale against Outeniqua helps the Riverdale side to remain in second spot on this week’s U15 Rugby Rankings.

Oakdale put in one of their best performances of the season with, what for many was a surprise win over Outeniqua who slip down a couple of positions on this week’s U16 School Rugby Rankings.

A bye weekend for Paul Roos Gym and Grey College allowed Glenwood to nudge a little bit closer to the two leaders after a comprehensive win by a motivated DHS side.

Northwood climb into the second spot on this week’s U14 School Rugby Rankings after another confident boosting win and keep their phenomenal form for this season going strong.

Another victory for Grey College this time over the powerful Affies team has helped them cement their place at the top of this week’s U15 School Rugby Rankings .

It is 12 wins from 12 matches for the powerful Paarl Gym team who brushed aside Oakdale in a hard fought for victory to remain the kings of the castle on this week’s U16 Top 100 rankings.

It was a thunderous display from Paul Roos Gym who proceeded to clinically dispose of Paarl Boys High this weekend, a team who have ridden the crest of school rugby for the past few years, but this time were made to look out of sorts.

Grey College moved up a couple of places to nestle in at position No.2 this week on the U14 School Rugby Rankings which still sees Paarl Gym out in front.

Helpmekaar are knocking on the door of the top 5 zone on this week’s SA School Sports U15 Rugby Rankings after a strong win over Transvalia and along with Boishaai move up a notch thanks in part to Selborne who slip down after their match against Grey College.

Paarl Gim were pushed hard by a Rondebosch side who have yet to get their season going in 2018 but at the end showed their class to take the victory and remain the leaders amongst the U16 teams on this week’s U16 Rankings.
