Boys Hockey: The First Rankings of 2019

The 2019 hockey season is well underway in what promises to be a very tightly contested tussle between several of the traditional powerhouses and perhaps a few giant killers who are hoping to cause some surprises.

There is an avalanche of rugby on the go with most teams in action this week:

Kearsney hosted Hilton on a steamy afternoon in front of a good crowd who were entertained to some physical and uncompromising rugby between these two old rivals.

Greater Confidence Beyond Sport- Part 6

St Stithians remarkable run of form which included winning their 4th Coca-Cola T20 Schools Challenge title has helped to boost them to the top of this week’s First XI Top 60 Rankings.

It was always going to be a tussle between St Charles College and St Stithians as to who would be crowned the T20 Champs of 2019.

Between having six of their players, across various age groups, currently in the South African teams, despite not being able to produce as many in previous years, and their first team cementing their place as a top contender at all major tournaments, the big question on everybody’s mind is, ‘How are they doing it?’
