Maritzburg College hold onto the top spot by the skin of their teeth this week after being forced into a draw against a motivated Northwood side leaving the door wide open for the likes of Jeppe and Pretoria Boys High to snatch poll position.

For the sixth year in a row Oranje Meisies won the All Girl’s Tournament when they duelled it out with Collegiate in the final match and narrowly took the win on showdowns 2-1.

After another successful campaign at the Wildeklawer Festival, Paarl Gim remains the top U16 rugby team in the country as they surge onwards during this unbeaten run.

The Wildeklawer Festival took hold of school rugby and as usual gave it an almighty shake-up as many of the top teams in the country faced off in what we have come to expect as a spectacle of school rugby.

Paarl Gim remains on top of this Week’s U16 Rugby Rankings after a good win over SACS and they look like they will be a difficult team to dislodge.

Affies secured their place amongst the top three leading U15 teams in the country with yet another convincing win which sees them well placed on this week’s U15 Rugby Rankings.

We have a very stable top ten at this stage of the season with St. Mary’s Kloof still narrowly ahead of Herschel and Oranje Meisies on this week’s Girls Top 60 Hockey Rankings.

We have arguably one of the most closely contested rankings for many a season with very little to separate the leading teams in the country.
