Cricket: Saints or Green Machine? Tough Call

The St Charles College first XI cricket team have never won the KZN Inland region T20 tournament, hence the dream of competing for the KZN Dolphins Franchise gold medal match has never materialised.

Hilton College with an unbeaten start to their season take the top spot on this week’s U15 Belgotex Rankings but to be fair the top ten teams are very closely bunched with little separating them.

The past week saw St.Stithians cement their place at the top of the Belgotex First XI Top 50 Rankings for yet another week as they stretch their unbeaten run to ten matches for the season.

Little With A Big Eye on Junior Dusi Crown

By FNB Dusi Canoe Marathon standards the 2017 junior boys race contenders have snuck under the race’s radar with no single paddler putting their hand up until an impressive Campbell’s to Dusi Bridge performance from Stewart Little saw him rise to the top of pretenders to the boy’s throne.

The SA School Sports Basketball Rankings are back in 2017 and we are looking to give as much exposure to this growing sport as we can this year.

A strong win by Wynberg over arch rivals Rondebosch has helped them to get back into the Top five of the Belgotex First XI Top 50 Rankings this week.

A fighting 40 from Thamsanqa Khumalo during the Coca Cola Schools T20 Regional Finals against Clifton College at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead on Friday, 3 February, set up an eight run win for Glenwood in an exciting but low scoring affair.
