Boys Hockey: The First Belgotex Top 40 Rankings of 2017

It’s Jeppe Boys who have thrown down the gauntlet to the teams in South Africa as they occupy the top spot in the first publishing of the Belgotex Top 40 Rankings for 2017.

Jeppe have started well with two wins out of two although they had to fight for their lives against St.John’s College who came close to derailing their promising start. However Jeppe are traditionally one of the powerhouses in SA School hockey so it comes as no surprise that they are way up north on the table.

Bear in mind there are still many teams that need to be added to the rankings once they have completed a minimum of two matches and the big names like Maritzburg College, Rondebosch, Wynberg and Paul Roos Gym will be sure to mount a massive assault for the premier spot.
