It was an incredible weekend of some of the finest school boy rugby you could witness anywhere on the globe with several of the powerhouses doing battle and putting on a spectacle to be proud of.

This Week’s School Rugby results from around South Africa:

There is a new leader on this week’s Boys U16 Hockey Rankings in what could well be a perfectly timed run by Jeppe who take the No.1 spot for the first time in 2018.

It was a tough day at the office for Collegiate who took on the leading team in the country, Oranje Meisies it what resulted in a strong win for the Bloemfontein team.

Jeppe did what they needed to do to ensure that they are at the top of this week’s Boy’s First Team Rankings and that was to win their matches against KES and Waterkloof.

Paarl Gim maintain a strangle hold on the No. 1 spot on this week’s U14 Top 100 Rankings and it is looking increasingly unlikely that any team will catch them.

A strong finishing Affies team have now moved up to position three on this week’s U15 Top 100 Rankings following a dismantling of Waterkloof last week.

School Feature: Epworth School

Epworth School, which caters for girls and boys from Grades RRR to 7 and girls only from Grades 8 to 12, boasts a strong sporting ethos that promotes inclusive participation and champions excellence.

It was a welcomed return to the field by Grey College who showed that although taking some week’s off from action had lost none of their hunger to win.

After a lengthy absence from the field Grey College turned on the taps in a massive display against Grey High School that will send shockwaves to their remaining opponents Glenwood and Paul Roos Gym.
