This Week’s School Rugby results from around South Africa:

The under 16 Top Schools Ranking for boys and girls has been going for 3 months and has enjoyed tremendous support. Thanks for your contributions to date. We are very excited to see the caliber of schools that are participating and to see how tight the competition is at the top.

It has become a very congested top half of the table with very little to separate the teams as we move into the business end of the season.

There is a slight shuffle that takes place on this week’s Boys U16 Hockey Rankings with Grey High School inching up to the second spot on the table which still has the other Grey at the top.

Grey College moved up a couple of places to nestle in at position No.2 this week on the U14 School Rugby Rankings which still sees Paarl Gym out in front.

Bloemhof put in one of their finest results of the season when they took on and beat the high-flying Herschel team which has resulted in a minor reshuffling of teams on this week’s Girls Hockey Belgotex Sports Top 70 Rankings.

Helpmekaar are knocking on the door of the top 5 zone on this week’s SA School Sports U15 Rugby Rankings after a strong win over Transvalia and along with Boishaai move up a notch thanks in part to Selborne who slip down after their match against Grey College.

Maritzburg College kept the Kearsney College challenge at bay last week with a robust 3-1 victory which keeps them entrenched at the top of this Week’s Belgotex Sports Top 70 Rankings.
