The U14 SACS side stay in control of the leader board on this week’s rankings after completing a comfortable win over Paarl Boys High during the past week.

The “Team Sheet”. Ask any school boy cricketer and they will admit that the first time they saw their name appearing on a team sheet they felt a sudden rush of pride. There it was, they had made it on an elite list of players, and it was in black and white for all to see.

The Rondebosch bowling duo of Aneeq Gamieldien and Jacques Duminy rocked the Paarl Gim batters to bundle them out cheaply and set up another win for the Cape side that is finishing the 2017 year strongly.

St Stitihians came close to slipping on the proverbial banana skin when they faced a motivated St.Benedicts team who were in no mood to bow down to the leading team in the country.

The School Cricket season is in full swing with most of the teams in action this weekend.

Jeppe have hit their straps during the past few weeks, peeling off victory after victory which has helped the Johannesburg team move into the second spot on this week’s Belgotex Sports U14 Cricket Rankings.

Rondebosch U15 team have made some important gains up the table and are good value for their 3rd position on this week’s U15 Belgotex Sports Rankings.

There has been plenty of cricket played in the past two weeks with Cape Schools Week and the Oppenheimar/Michaelmas Week seeing many of the leading teams in action.

The cricket season is in full swing with many matches taking place this week including some of the big name teams who will be eager to be back in action again.

With the U15 Cricket season still in its early stages we take a look at how the teams are sitting on the table prior to what is sure to be plenty of matches in the next couple of months.

Rondebosch embarked on a tour of Pretoria to kick start their season and look in promising form in these early stages.

The cricket season is in full swing with many matches taking place this week including some of the big name teams who will be eager to be back in action again.

The cricket season for 2017 has resumed after a lengthy break whilst many of the schools were consumed with rugby, however already several teams have engaged in quite a few matches.

The first half of the 2017 season has drawn to a close and at this stage few would dispute the fact that St. Stithians fully deserve to rest at the top of the Belgotex First XI Rankings for this week.

It always carries some interest to see how the future First Teams are faring with their first taste of high school cricket.

As the U15 season draws to a close we are looking at a fairly tight bunching of teams in the top 10 of the Belgotex Top 35 with a few matches still to be played.

After an indifferent start to the season which saw them losing a few matches SACS hit their straps at the KES Tournament winning all their matches and taking home the title. This performance has greatly improved their standing on the SA School Water Polo Rankings for this week.

As the first half of the 2017 season draws to a close St.Stithians are virtually in an untouchable region way out at the top of this week’s Belgotex First XI Top 50 Rankings.

Wynberg enjoyed a brilliant run last week winning all three of their matches and in so doing take up residence in the No.2 spot on this week’s Belgotex First XI Top 50 Rankings.

SACS have hit the front and now lead the Belgotex U15 Rankings after stretching their unbeaten run so far to seven matches.

The St. Stithians machine rumbled on last week to complete another three wins for the season and in so doing remain unbeaten justifying their No.1 position on the First XI Belgotex Top 50 Rankings for this week.
